“Hi, I’m Emi! I’m an Italian artist based in the UK, where I’ve been creating colourful monsters full-time since 2019.
Inspired by nature, emotions and the creatures most people overlook, I create original illustrations, hand painted artworks, enamel pins and murals that celebrate curiosity, individuality and imagination.
I graduated with honours from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, Italy, before moving to England to pursue my dream of becoming a full-time artist. I’ve been drawing monsters for as long as I can remember, and every creature I create has its own personality, reminding us that every emotion deserves a place and that being different is something to celebrate.
When I’m not creating, you’ll usually find me with my three rescue cats, Tilly, Nabina and Bambi. I’m also passionate about filmmaking and storytelling and whenever I can I work on video editing and film projects. Whether it’s through a painting, a mural or a film, storytelling is at the heart of everything I create.
Today my work has grown into original paintings, murals, enamel pins, prints, collectibles and wearable art, and my creations are now collected by people all over the world.
